Prior Approval - Shop to Residential 

The change of use from a shop (A1) to residential (C3) with a new façade can now be done under a Lawful Development Certificate.

Permitted Development for this type of conversion is now more accessible for landlords, but requires an in depth knowledge of the General Permitted Development Order to ensure the change of use complies with any conditions, limitations or restrictions specified by your Local Authority.
